About Wimbledon Blood Tests

Wimbledon Blood Tests is a private blood testing clinic on St Georges Road, powered by London Medical Laboratory, one of the UK's leading private diagnostic laboratories. Our sister clinic in Epsom (pictured) became the area's number one blood testing clinic in under five years, and we're bringing that same standard of care to SW19.

Do I need a GP referral to book a blood test? +
No referral needed. You can book any test directly through our website, choose your appointment time, and walk in. No waiting weeks for a GP appointment, no referral letters, no unnecessary delays.
How do I book an appointment? +
Booking takes less than two minutes. Find the test you need, add it to your basket, select your appointment time at checkout, and you're done. We're open Monday to Saturday from 8am at Sterling House, 6-10 St Georges Road, Wimbledon, SW19 4DP.
What is included in the cost of the test? +
The price shown for each test covers the full laboratory analysis and a doctor-reviewed results report delivered securely to your inbox. A professional in-clinic blood draw is charged separately and is added at checkout when you select your collection method. There are no other hidden fees.
How quickly will I get my results? +
Most results are ready the next day. Some specialist tests take a little longer, and the turnaround time is displayed on each product page. Results are delivered securely to your inbox with a password-protected link, along with a doctor's commentary explaining what your numbers mean.
Who analyses my blood sample? +
All samples are processed by London Medical Laboratory (LML), one of the UK's leading UKAS-accredited private laboratories. LML analyses hundreds of thousands of samples each year for private patients, GP clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare providers across the UK.
Do I need to fast before my test? +
It depends on the test. Some tests, such as cholesterol and glucose panels, require an 8-hour fast before your appointment. Others have no fasting requirement. The fasting requirement is clearly stated on each product page so you'll always know before you book.
How do I receive my results? +
Your results are sent directly to your email once they are ready. You will also receive a text message containing a secure password to access them. Every result includes a doctor's commentary explaining what each marker means in plain English, with any out-of-range values flagged and explained.
What if one of my results comes back abnormal? +
Every result includes a doctor's report that explains any out-of-range values in plain English and advises on appropriate next steps. A single abnormal result is not always cause for concern, but if follow-up is recommended the report will tell you exactly what to do. You are never left to interpret your results alone.
Is my information kept confidential? +
Yes, completely. Your results are delivered via a password-protected secure link and are never shared with your GP or any third party without your consent. Your booking information is handled in accordance with UK data protection law.
